Chenin Blanc, Swartland, 2025

Still closed and holding a great deal in reserve, this is a purist’s Chenin Blanc with excellent grip and structure. White flowers and restrained stone fruit are framed by citrus pith, stony minerality and a zesty, gently bitter finish. The texture builds with air, but the wine remains focused and controlled rather than overtly expressive. Old Vine Project certified, drawn from dry-farmed vineyards across the Swartland, including fruit from the single-vineyard Chenins.
