Piedmont 2022: Buyers Picks

Following on from the launch of our full Piedmont EP 2022 offer last week, we follow up with a shortlist of wines that come highly recommended by our buyer. Neatly separated into two categories, “Winning Wines” represent excellent price to quality in a spread of winemaking styles, from the silky Paolo Scavino and Roberto Voerzio to the vibrant, aromatic Piero Busso, with Marco Marengo’s ever-dependable Brunate stylistically somewhere in-between.

“Star Wines” are some of our out-and-out picks from the offer, including the legendary Monvigliero from Fratelli Alessandria, old vines Albesani from Busso and the miniscule production Cannubi, produced by Silvia Altare from the historic central part of Barolo’s original single vineyard.
